RFID Antenna & Decoder (WDLF 8)

For reading Passive Identification Transponders (PIT tags), this integrated decoder and antenna multiplexer enables up to 16 antennae to be connected.
All 16 antennae can be sequentially polled within 3 seconds making this unit ideal where many read points are required at minimum cost, for non time-critical applications.
An on-board Real Time Clock and Battery Backed-up Memory enables optional logging of up to 1000 time-stamped events. I.D. data output from the WDLF is via RS232/422. Operating from either a low voltage d.c. or mains a.c. supply, the WDLF has a wide range of possible applications such as component tracking through manufacturing, authorization verification, animal behavior study etc. Both standard and custom antennae are available for use with the WDLF.
